About Us

We work by hand. Cutting and preparing the hide, plaiting the belly and overlay, balancing and finishing, step by step, with patience. It is exacting, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a machine-made whip lies.

What pleases us most are the drovers, drivers and collectors who come back, and the whips used and kept for years. That is the sign that craft and care are worth something.

We are a small workshop plaiting whips by hand. To us a whip is more than plaited leather: cut, plaited and balanced by hand, it handles well and, cared for, it lasts for years. That is what our work is about.
